The current state of governance leadership should alarm any of us who value honesty, integrity, fairness and truth. The erosion of these fundamental values that are essential to trust and stability has created a vacuum into which power reigns over principle. We need an American Awakening, a conversation about who we are and what kind of Country we will create as we move into the future. My vocation is leadership development in the service of individual, organizational and community improvement for a greater good. This requires all of us to value inner work, to understand how systems actually work, how sustainable change occurs and to use all of our knowledge, experience and skill in an integrated approach that brings us together.
